Cindy has been a professional judge with USEF for 33 years in the
Arabian division.
She has judged various breeds of horses at rated and open shows for
over 35 years.
A 10 year 4-H member as a youth, Cindy judged livestock and horses
and when she entered college, judged on both the livestock and horse
judging teams for Colorado State University, garnering national
honors in both livestock and horse judging.
Additionally, Cindy coached youth judging teams, winning two National
Championships and one Reserve National Championship. She was also
herself the high scoring senior individual twice at the U.S. National
Championship Arabian Horse Judging contest.
Cindy has had a long love affair with Irish cobs, having traveled to
Ireland for over 22 years, and having lived in Ireland for several
years while studying for a Master's degree in Animal Reproduction at
University College Dublin. She has attended many shows in Ireland as
a spectator/student, including the Royal Dublin Horse Show and has
also attended many fairs such as Ballinasloe and Spancil Hill to
study the cobs on offer. She also did reproductive work for several
farms who stood stallions in Ireland. Cindy has also managed
breeding stallions in Belguim and Holland.
As an International and National judge in the Arabian division, Cindy
has judged the National shows for the U.S.A., Canada, Venezuela,
Australia, Brazil and Sweden.
Cindy works as an equine reproduction technician and breeding manager
and currently manages the client horses for Equine Reproduction
Innovations, Inc. of Wellington, Colorado. |
